I haven prescription sunglasses. Generally I don’t wear them inside, occasionally I’ll forget that I have them until after I’m in the store though. My eyesight without glasses is terrible so I leave them on. Sorry if I look like an asshole but I would have trouble navigating my way and finding what I need without them.

I understand the sentiment and yes, just like everything else, capitalism has turned death into a money making racket at the expense of the average person.

I live near a cemetery currently and was raised near a different one, they make great neighbors. Quiet and the one near me now is also a wildlife refuge so I can’t call that wasted space. Yes, it’s privately owned but it’s open to the public. Also, I work in historic preservation and love working in and exploring cemeteries.

In the end, I just love the blend of history, architecture, and nature in one place.

What worked for me was to find a replacement for the sensation in my mouth. The big problem with a lot of sodas is the sugar and calories so I wanted to find a substitute that’s lower in those categories. I broke my addiction to Mt Dew with a big glass of the coldest water I could get, the cold mouth feel took the place of the fizzy one. I’m back on fizzy stuff but I stick to flavored seltzer water and usually only one with dinner.

Private equity firms have been buying veterinary offices at an increased rate since 2020 and jacking up rates, especially in high COL areas so I’m not surprised. My dog needed a tooth extracted at the end of last year and the cost was just under $1000. I understand there are highly trained individuals working there that need to be paid appropriately but I wonder what the cost for me to have one tooth extracted would be?

Where are you reading that is a radar for ICBMs? The article just says a Krasukha radar jammer is reported to be there. Reading the Wikipedia article for these systems indicate that they can jam the radar for UAVs and drones. Since Ukraine has been using drones heavily, I can see why they would attack. I’m not saying that it doesn’t work against ballistic missiles but it’s seems like they have a lot of other applications to Russia’s war effort.

I may be wrong but I believe dish soap is an alkaline/base and I know vinegar is acidic. If you mix the two, they are going to neutralize each other. I’d try just the vinegar and some hot water, that’s I use to clean water scale build ups.

Same thing happened with US military aid in the Middle East for the last 20 years. We haven’t changed anything so why would this time be different? guessing in another year, we’ll see the same headline about the aid we sent to Israel.

The Devil Inside, I’m not a huge horror fan and possession/haunted house movies are my least favorite of the genre. I went because that’s what my date wanted to see. It was so boring I started to fall asleep and when it finally got a little more exciting, Spoilers it ended with a sudden car crash, cut to black, and then text popped up saying that if you want to know more, go to some bullshit website. What a waste of $40.

I have one question though, this other article that OP posited indicates she isn’t violating any of the strike rules for the WGA or SAG, so how is this different than when Jon Stewart, Colbert, and Conan kept their shows going during the last writers strike? No one called them scabs at that time. I don’t really care about her one way or the other, it seems like a double standard though.
