  • The Danish regime has sentenced a Snapchat influencer to six months of prison for “applauding terrorism” in relation to the Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7th last year. The influencer who was appealing a sentence back in February was convicted for posting a 40 second video about the people at a music festival who got caught in the crossfire between zionist attack helicopters and resistance fighters in which he said:

"Seriosly, let’s be realistic. What goes on down there [in the illegal zionist entity] is not fair. Because there are still people down there. People live down there. … Who have not been thrashed yet. But 250 of them is not that bad.

The sentence is an escalation from the regime compared to the earlier sentence from the lower court that only gave him a four months’ suspended sentence.

Eight other persons are being threatened with criminal charges by the regime over public remarks in support of the Al-Aqsa Flood. No legal actions has been taken against public support for the zionist genocide against Palestine or the prolific war crimes of the zionist occupiers.

  • I saw a headline: “The government has made a broad agreement on a price ceiling for district heating”. Great news, our house is heated with district heating and the bastards just jacked the price 20 percent up. Price controls are awesome! Maybe this will help us out?

The article behind the headline didn’t tell much but it linked to the official press release. I read the press release. Here’s what a “price ceiling” looks like under neoliberalism:

    • The “ceiling” is based on the price of heating pumps
    • Each year a list of utilities with prices above the “ceiling” will be published, “enabling the consumer to make a price check for their heating bill”
    • Utility companies with prices above the “ceiling” are required to make a plan for bringing prices down
    • If the average price over a three year period is above the ceiling, consumers are no longer bound to the utility company and are able to “choose another heating solution”

And on top of it they now introduce an “arm’s length principle” between municipal administrations and the operation of utility companies and require utilities to be “corporatised” and have “independent” board members.

  • My theory on why they still support genocide Joe. Please someone who is more knowledgeable on internal court intrigue in Washington tell me if this sounds realistic:

Genocide Joe is part of the Obama faction of the democrat party. If he resigns that faction could lose power internally in the party to other factions. If genocide Joe wins in November the gravy train continues as before but it is not that bad if he loses as the Obama faction will still control the democrat party and will be able to use the darn Cheeto in the White House to fundraise and funnel that money into the Obama faction’s patronage network.

  • People go to bars because they are more social places and dive bars are the best vbars in my opinion.

Everybody is welcome in a dive bar, old or young, rich ior poor, pretty or ugly, it is one of the least snobby places you can find. You can still smoke in many of them. They don’t have a seven kilometre long drinks menu with posh hipster crap, you can just drink regular beer and that will be fine. Oftentimes people there are open to socialise.
