did it have 32bit cpu by any chance?. since linux stopped supporting it a while ago. if its 64 bit its fine i think

The display link drivers are the problem for me. Makes everything so unstable.

I did get it somewhat working by switching to Ubuntu in combination with the Ubuntu display link driver. But it’s never stable

maybe keep it here for now until the userbase is higher if youre already gonna split now its not gonna be very active i think

does the docking station happen to have a display link chip in it? they give a lot of problems in my experience. it requires a separate driver

ms. office compatibility is not always that great, with openoffice, libre office etc. depending on the complexity of your files. try using the older office formats like .doc instead of .docx. i have found that to work best when sharing files with ms office users. or run office in a vm
