As much as I dislike Adobe, Photoshop is something I can’t get away from.

Second Sync for Lemmy. I don’t care if people hate on me for using it. It’s (currently) far superior.
Well Meta made it free to play so no harm in trying. They did cause a rush of children to join so the community isn’t what it used to be. I suspect it’ll eventually go the way of Echo VR.
It’s a couple years old now but yeah. It started off pretty amazing. Meta is like the EA of the VR space. Buying and ruining everything it touches.
Everything zombie said applies to KeePass as well. Except that it’s free, open source, and no bullshit. Highly recommended. I’ve been using it for ages on all my computers and devices. Even my VR headset has KeePass.
Smashing zero usually works just as well.

Been playing for over two years but the development team (which may or may not be one unpaid intern) has ruined the game to the point that few people even play it anymore. This used to be one of the greatest VR experiences you could have but now it’s so full of bugs it’s nearly unplayable.
Just a broken dumpster fire. This is what happens when Meta buys a studio.
Indeed but the masses have been looking away or ignoring it the whole time. This is the beginning of society starting to get fucked. Soon the migrations will start. And the ones that can’t relocate will suffer and become desperate. Desperate people do desperate things. There will be a snowball effect to this and it ain’t gonna be cold.
This is how it begins.
I would cancel the new ISP on principal. Fool me once shame on you, if they fool me twice it’s on me. I wouldn’t give them the opportunity to fuck me again.
For now at least. I would imagine in time the duplicates may converge into one or the other.
Maybe don’t buy that bigass (sail)boat.
I’m not sure there will be life on earth in 100 years.
Slashdot still has the best moderation system. I never understood why it didn’t become the norm. You get x number of mod points per week/month. X is determined by how active you are on the platform. You use those points to up/down vote stuff. And there’s a dropdown list of reasons for each. Having a limited number of points means people use them only when appropriate. And the list of reasons insures the points aren’t just used as Likes or Disagree.
The fact that this was downvoted is a perfect example of exactly what you’re talking about.
I use both Firefox and Brave. I’m not sure if that makes me an asshole or not.
