FWIW, QuickPic Pro ad-free is available by Cheetah Mobile the company who bought it. Also a modded fork of the last verion before it was bundled with ads is available from github.

4·1 year agoYea it probably is just that. Best thing to do is install a modded version of Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) with Play Store integration. Check the MustardChef github repo. Then use Mantis GamePad Pro for controller support for unsupported titles. That’s what i use and have all the best apps and games the Store has to offer. Performance is good now that WSA has Vulkan support, but not perfect just yet for 3D intensive titles.
For what it’s worth, I don’t get any ads in this App, so give it a shot.

Unfortunately I’ve been reeled back to RIF because you can apply a patch now that allows you to login. It’s hard to resist the familiar look of that app.
The icon colours have changed between the two, which is good enough as the current logo is fine.

It’s 2nd best to wefwef.app. The only thing wefwef needs is a grey theme, then it would be perfect. Also it’s web based and no dedicated app. But the PWA app is quite good.
I went back to reddit after finding a working patch that allows me to continue using 3rd party reddit app; reddit is Fun. I visit this site once a month just to check it out.
