The faces training was all of the filters. Every single time someone took a video or picture and used filters to add cute moe eyes, or make themselves look like a crab, it was being used to make whichever company was doing it have a better bottom line or to accelerate their facial recognition.

Well, here’s your second opinion. The blue blood means you’re probably a crab, and you’re about to be harvested, brosef. The pissing red means your kidneys love america. Shitting white means your poop still has high fat content, and is likely an indicator of liver failure.

Maybe MY experience is limited, but what manager these days isn’t pulling double duty? They do 3/4 of the job time with duties no different than the people under them, and also have to do all the managing part when possible. This is how it’s been in the public service, retail, and customer service jobs I’ve worked.

I know that where I live, a doctor can do something that makes the driver’s license folks have to hold a hearing on the individual. As far as I know, it’s almost never done because the doctor is going to 1.) be sued, and 2.) be dragged through the mud by the dipshit and nearly every single person who knows the dipshit. For most, it’s just not worth it.

Shoot, they won’t just be posting a tl;dr, but a commentary on it, and sometimes really good context from their field or experience. It’s basically the article, but written by a more intelligent journalist who is a part of whatever is being reported on, not just observing from interviews and phone calls (and lame corporate website ‘about us’ pages).

I think you may be making a mountain out of a mole hill. If they’re asking you to make him take it, we all know that’s a violation of informed consent to medical treatment laws/practices/standards. It doesn’t sound like that though. It seems as if they just want you to document whether the patient takes it or not. If they’re alert and oriented, it should be obvious when you give it to them whether or not that happens within, say 10 seconds. 10 seconds isn’t really invasive. If the patient gets upset that you’re watching him take it for that long, pass it off as you’re just documenting whether or not he took it.

If they are wanting you to make the patient take it, well… bring up concerns to a supervisor you trust, and chart that you spent time trying to convince the patient to take the medication (better known as, the 5 seconds you talked to the patient about this being a doctor’s orders for medication).

I can imagine sensation if I want, but as a ‘for instance,’ I know I don’t like some foods because of certain sensations, but don’t have to perceive them when I remember why. I can’t imagine that most people aren’t the same, or we’d have a lot more people gagging randomly as they walk around. Sure, some people will be slightly perturbed if you mention certain things, like fecal matter, horrible farts, the feeling of biting down on aluminum… but those perturbations pass in moments.

A few million. Nasty, with hints of corn and bean. Painful and, oddly, quite exhilarating. Knowing doesn’t equate to experiencing.

Public service might be your stick. Firefighter/medic is almost exactly your experience with the new situations every few hours, downtime, having a strong sense of community. Police have a similar feel, if you’re in a more rural area. You’ll never have the same situation twice, even if things are similar, and you’ll almost always have a partner (or more, depending on if the whole truck shows up with the box) to depend on.
