That one at the Illios Well? I know that one and have played it a few times in the past.
These past couple of days, I’ve been always queuing flex and I got 5x DPS in 60+ games, including one in the final 10s of a loss, where I didn’t even make it to the point.
It doesn’t really bother me, I like Tank and Support, and since Blizzard added a bunch of them when OW2 came out, so there’s still a lot to try and learn.
Decided to give Overwatch 2 a shot, until the new Doom is out.
First time playing OW in a couple of years, just doing normal 5v5 Quick Play, and it’s been fun. Mostly Tank and Support, but occasionally the Matchmaking Algorithm graces me with a DPS game. Current favorite heroes: Hazard and Orisa for Tank, Brigitte and Juno for Healer, and Venture for DPS.
After I’m done with Doom, I’ll take a look at Stadium, the new game mode that was added to OW recently.
No cosmetics pretty much disqualifies almost every game, because all of them have it, even old games.
In my comment before, I probably wouldn’t describe cosmetics as a grind. You just unlock stuff on the side, as a bonus, since most of it is random. It’s not like you’re going to play a thousand games of Ursa in Dota to unlock some rare skin.
What do you want? Lots of games fit that description.
In some shooters, you basically only grind for cosmetics, like Overwatch, Marvel Rivals or Counter-Strike. Dota 2 is a Moba and also only has cosmetic unlocks, I think.
Maybe Minecraft or Terraria? I don’t think you really grind in these games, but you do very similar stuff all the time.
I have an LG 38GN950-B, 1600p Ultrawide, IPS, 144Hz, and really like it.
For productivity, I think Ultrawide is great. WFH on this is really nice.
For gaming, it’s kinda hit-and-miss. Many games just don’t support UW, so you’re stuck with black bars or have to mess around with mods, fixes or tools. While not a dealbreaker, when I upgrade in a couple of years, I’ll probably just go back to 16:9, because of that.
IPS glow is there, but not really noticeable. I’m usually in a well-lit room, so that cancels out any glow I could notice out anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.
Germany is weird with the Wolfenstein games
Not anymore. You can buy the non-german Wolfenstein games for a while now (since 2019).
I think I remember that around the release of This War of Mine and Wolfenstein 2, there were some more discussions about just flat out banning Nazi symbols in video games, and treating them as art.
Porn and Hentai games are still pretty much all blocked on Steam, and some gory stuff, which I don’t get. You can’t buy Dying Light (but you can buy the DLC) on Steam or GOG, but Doom, where you’re ripping apart demons, is ok.
I finished DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal. Eternal is definitely the better of the two for me, maybe even my favorite in the whole series.
Eternal’s campaign was pretty easy this time, since I actually used all of the tools the game gives you. Some of the Master Levels were harder though, especially Taras Nabad. Two fights in that level took me an hour each on Ultra-Violence.
Now I’ll play the DLC for the first time.
Still trying Baldur’s Gate 3 solo Honor Mode. I’ve died a lot, to all kind of different enemies. Currently, I got a good run going, made it to level 6, still Act 1, but almost done. Hopefully I don’t turn off my brain again in a crucial moment and just eat dirt.

Trying a solo Honor Mode run in Baldur’s Gate 3. Playing a Gloomstalker Assassin, which should avoid getting into combat a lot, and just snipe from max range, if you play it right. If I die, I’ll probably still continue the run. I’ve done the beginning too many times earlier this year.
What do you think the C-Button is for?
I hope it’s the Cum-Button.
So, I think most of the Trails games are garbage, but since I played them like five years ago over two months, up to CS3. Now I feel obligated to play the rest as well. Hate-playing or something.
Since there’s been a bunch of new games released since then, I might have to do another one of these “marathons.”
If you didn’t like the story in Cold Steel so far, I don’t think the next game probably isn’t going to change you mind. I think it actually gets even worse.
Azure and Zero are definitely my favorite games of the series, since they just don’t have anything to do with the rest of the story, until the very end.
I played a ton of Cyberpunk 2077. I’ve done a lot of side missions, a bunch of the main missions and then started the DLC, when the game pointed me in that direction. The game still has many bugs and glitches, but they are pretty minor. The DLC seems to be worse than the main game, although even then it’s minor stuff.
I usually do as well, but for some reason not this time.
Four more levels of Final Doom’s TNT: Evilution. After it’s done, I’ll take a classic Doom break for a while. I gotta play Dark Ages first, before continuing with Plutonia.
The some more Cyberpunk 2077. I’m a bit pissed at myself and the game, because of a glitch, that blocks some side quests. Foolishly, I just used a single save slot, and the auto saves don’t go back far enough, before the glitch happend, so I might try something to avoid it. The cause is probably a mod, although from what I read this bug isn’t uncommon and can happen without mods. Through the use of a save editor I’ve managed to make the next quest available at least, but wasn’t able to get the broken quest working again or “finish” it. I just hope it doesn’t happen again.
Then I started A Game About Digging A Hole today. Just like the title says, you’re digging a hole. You find stones and ores along the way, that you can sell, to upgrade your stuff. I’m two hours in, and looks like there’s nothing to upgrade anymore, which is a bit of a bummer. Now i just have to go deeper, blow stuff up with dynamite, and look for treasure. That probably also means I’m close to the end of the game.
I finished Final Fantasy III. This one had a weird bug for me, where the game wouldn’t start and stop my mouse from working on my main monitor, when a Stream or Video was playing on my second screen. Never had this with any other game and took a bit to figure it out.
Then more Final Doom TNT: Evilution on the Doom + Doom II port. The second half is definitely a step-up in difficulty, and three levels took me a while to beat. Level 16 had a nasty start, that I had to replay for a while, and not much ammo, if you don’t know where the secrets are. In Level 18 and 20 I just constantly messed up, plus some late Archviles or a Cyberdemon, to surprise you. I’m on Level 23 now, hopefully I can finish this soon.
Finally, I was going to buy the Rise of the Ronin PC port tomorrow, but according to a review it needs to cook a bit longer, just like all the other Team Ninja games on PC. So I started Cyberpunk 2077. I watched a playthrough on Twitch last year, and it looked pretty good. So far it’s pretty good. Right now, I’m doing some side content before continuing with Act 1.
Hopefully more price increases in regions that don’t have these tarrifs. Can’t have the US pay too much.
