Why stop there? Do the open source apps you’re advocating run on Windows or Nvidia drivers? You could get upset about them too, because they’re also one step removed from something closed source.

Then it sounds like all that’s left to do is get 150 million people to use them.
Nobody in this thread has forbidden anyone from doing anything. If you want a soapbox for your irrelevant opinions, start a blog.
I don’t know much about the gambling industry
You can stop there. You don’t know much about the gambling industry, defending them was just an opportunity to tell us your opinions on “some people”, none of whom are actually here.
Sounds more like you just don’t know anything about the gambling industry. They run rigged games in predatory ways. They happily let organised crime launder money for a cut. They fight regulations designed to reduce problem gambling.
Nevertheless, nobody here is “forcing their way of life on others and taking away their agency over their own lives”. They’re just acknowledging that casinos have a long history of being absolute cunts.
It also makes it nearly impossible for independent researchers to uncover bot networks and AstroTurfing, just in time for fully automated AI propaganda.
Congratulations! It has all of those things.
Stocks won’t plummet because they had a black character. Grow up.
Changing a characters race? What character has had their race changed? The entire story is absolutely going to revolve around him being a black man in Japan and has likely been that way from the earliest preproduction.
I’m sure they’ll be crying themselves to sleep.
You’re working backwards trying to find excuses. Even disregarding the fact that “black guy is meant to be stealthy” is looking objectively wrong, the “I put my hood up and sat on a bench so now I’m invisible” mechanic has been a joke spanning back to literally the first AC game ever made. If you wanted to get upset about how implausible it is, you’re more than 15 years too late.
I hate to burst your little reactionary bubble but there is zero chance that a key stakeholder said “sales are down, we need to include a black person”. AAA games have been growing worse as developers seek minimum risk for maximum profit and what you’re deeming “inclusive propaganda” simply doesn’t translate into lower risks nor higher profits.
If you can’t handle a black person in your game, don’t play it. Culture and society are going to leave you behind anyway so you may as well get used to missing out.
Whatever happened to “you do you, I do me”?
Literally the sentence before that one was you being critical of pride parades, so I guess you mean “You do you (but only with my rubber stamp of approval)”
You’re really bad at staying mask on.
Sure. “It happened to a friend”.
This situation doesn’t exist outside your imagination.
“Thanks for pushing normal people to the far-right” is an overt strategy passed around 4chan and far-right chat channels, intended to both discourage the left from defending their views and create the idea that being bigoted is something “normal people” support.
The software in the screenshot doesn’t require you to use Discord, but that’s not good enough there.
