I think we’re going to start to see music services going that way soon, for the first time I’ve started to see that songs in my primary play list are now not available in my region.

I admit I dont know what songs yet, am on a road trip at the moment, but it makes me worry that it’s going to get worse.

That’s the truth. I’ve been working from home more than 10 years now, over a few different companies and I can safely say I’m more productive and less stressed than I ever was working in an office environment.

I had no idea that happened, what a sad thing to hear. I haven’t read it in a while obviously, but my child is getting close to the age I was when I discovered it and Scientific American. I’m sad I won’t get to share National Geographic with them.

I would have a look at Garmin devices as others have said. I had a swim2 for a few years that my daughter now wears since I got a Descent mk2i. I needed a dive computer with good range on air integration to watch my daughters gas next year when she’s old enough to get certified.

As for fitness tracking I have nothing but good things to say, although the few and far between firmware updates are a drag, and I’ve never seen a new feature unlocked, the fact that the data I get based on the specs I purchased is great, consistent, and the damn things just always work. ___

This has me thinking, is there a space set aside for putting profits over people instances out and center so admins can preemptively defederate and/or block them?

I haven’t found one yet but I am rather new to this.

It’s honestly not too bad, only took about an hour after researching a couple of days. There’s an easy deploy script out there, that I don’t have a link for on my phone, that makes it really easy.

Problem is that the church leaders and politicians in the red states will point and scream at their opponents about how they are the cause of it all, god is punishing them, and their base is ignorant enough to lap it up and further entrench them against science and common fucking sense.

I live in an extremely backwards red area in the US and I see this every day.

You should be able to add it as an account, I think from the top left when you are the main feed.

Edit : went and checked, there’s a down arrow next to your name when you hit the menu icon, hit it and you should be able to add an account on a different instance

Sounds to me like they should full steam ahead with new sensors, they will never deliver on what they’ve promised with the tech they are using today.

Old customers situation won’t change and it would only be better going forward.

That’s infuriating to read, considering how much we are expected to trust the tech we bring home.

It was also fascinating from the deep dive into the app, to the company going through the stages of stupidity when caught out.
