So we’re you using the computer when the error occurred? If yes, it was probably the other drive or it was a minor read error. Are you using Windows? If yes, you could do a check disk in command prompt (chkdsk) on both drives with the parameters to repair the repair and recover.

So I think the real question isn’t so much “How often do we play?” but more “How often do we create?”. I equate playing to creation and creation, of any sort, uses our imagination. That creation could be in the form of playing, art, music, writing, you name it. It frees us from the constant monotony and inanity of consumption. The sad part is, as adults, it can be difficult to break out of the consumption cycle and exercise our vast ability of creation.

I know exactly what you mean with that feeling of being ahead of “the story” or whatever breaking news was coming out. Made me feel a sense of satisfaction that I was actually being well informed instead of just being fed a story.
