In no way am I trying to be mean or discouraging. You asked a really valid and important question, and i guess i impulsively reacted and forgot there are people less jaded than me. A side to this is that certain techniques will be deliberately obfuscated or simply omitted as a security measure in the hopes of slowing a bad actor’s eventual bypassing of the measure.
