I can’t believe I haven’t seen that yet.
I can’t believe I haven’t seen that yet.
I haven’t even heard of these. Except Who cloned Tyrone (really good)
Is harvest moon just seven samurai in space?
My wife and I have a Valentine’s Day tradition of getting Chinese takeout and starting the series.
We have a child named after a character.
LOL, this was great. Im a big guy who wears shorts cause I like the cold, and I have to ask, what other answer do yall expect to the stupid question of “aren’t you cold?” or “how are you not cold?”
The ideas in the first book and the (to me, novel) insights into some Chinese history etc, kept me involved in the first book. The characters were shittily written, especially the final American bad guy who was an underdeveloped trope more than a character.
I barely got through the second book. It had some interesting ideas, but far fewer. The main conciet they build up to is hollow.
I started the third book, on tape this time. I have a long commute and it is always my last choice of what to listen to.
the story I heard (from an Indonesian dude) was the colonial plantations didn’t allow locals to drink coffee. They noticed the civits only ate the ripest coffee berries… bla bla bla, shit coffee was the only choice and it was really good?
I read the first book for a book club so I just crunched it, but I’m listening to the audio book of the second and it’s annoying the hell out of me.
The characters are horrible, the story is so so. Some of the ideas are interesting, but the books have been a slog.
You can roll your own with bitwarden too.
RIP
Really liked the fire upon the deep and it’s sequels.
