Yes. Although it’s possible to learn programming without knowing English, English is required for those who wants to be good programmers. All documentation is in English, naming and comments should be in English too, otherwise it would be hard to maintain code for developers from other countries.
Other species don’t need clean water, clothes, complex tools and growing food. This makes their life simpler yet limits their number and habitat.
Try to live in a village growing own food. It’s a hard work, especially if you have cattles or other domestic animals. Villagers work from early morning to evening because there’s a lot things to do. Living in a city is much easier.
I was leading a work group designing a new software. I tried to reach consensus, so everybody in the group would be satisfied with our decisions. But it didn’t work. Everybody was arguing even on simple questions and didn’t listen to arguments of others. Votings didn’t help too, because the minority was rising the same questions again and again, trying to convince others to join them and then re-vote. And nobody was satisfied. We were wasting time. But when I said that now I only listen to others and make decisions on my own, everybody was ok with that. Our meetings became productive. So, I don’t believe consensus is possible.
What are those ways? I’m really interested, 'cause as I know startups usually search for investors.
Investors are not bad. They cover early-stage expanses, and of course, they want to return that money and get profit. Having investors is better than having nothing. As an alternative, workers can work for free until the company becomes profitable, or even invest some money in it. But I don’t think most workers will agree with such a scheme.
That’s the main issue. But their approach to the economy was awful as well. Unions just collected money and did nothing, plants and factories produced either copies of goods created in the capitalist world, or things that looked bad. People who wanted to wear good-looking clothes were waiting for the end of the month because shops to gain the desired number of purchases were selling western goods for a day or two. Jeans weren’t officially imported and sold. People were buying jeans for two monthly salaries, and it was ok because anyway it was hard to spend the earned money. For a worker, it wasn’t beneficial to improve something in the factory, and nobody wanted to suggest such improvements. There was no market and because of this, nobody wanted to make better goods or make the production process more effective. There was no need in economy of resources, and because of this, production was ineffective. The Soviets admitted it, but weren’t able to change it. Goods made in the USSR and briefly in the ex-USSR countries after the USSR collapsed, were ugly, outdated and expensive. They just couldn’t compete in the market. And there are many people telling capitalism is bad. Capitalism is more effective in providing cheaper good-looking goods because companies have to make profit and compete for customers.
Actually, anything pro-communist collects likes, and anything pro-capitalist collects dislikes. That’s what I observe.

Usually dogs and cats are just there. Hungry and lonely, abandoned by their owners or having no alive owners. Between feeding and not feeding such pets soldiers choose the first one. And the pets start living with the soldiers. Then the soldiers make photos of their new pets. So, it’s not propaganda.
And there’s an important correction: animals are victims of what Russians are doing.
True. Google has good regional prices and pays creators more than some other streaming services. By not blocking ads I support both platform and creators. Furthermore, creators in my country get more money from premium viewers than from ads.
So-called “dictatorship of proletariat” was simply a terror. Lots of philosophers and religious elite was killed just because they weren’t compatible with communist ideology. Rich peasants who didn’t even use others labor were either robbed or killed. Peasants lost their land and had to work for the country. People got killed just because some anonyms told they did something bad. I know this because it happened to my ancestors. My grand-grandfather lost his house, communists left only one room for his family. His friends, all good people, dissapeared. His daughters never played with neighbor’s kids because of fear. My other grand-grandfather lost land and two horses. His brother was killed for not agreeing to give away his house. And my another grand-grandfather was killed because an anonymous letter. He was communist and thought he was safe as he did nothing wrong. His kids couldn’t get education because they were “children of the enemy of the people”. Much later my grandfather got a paper concluding that execution of his father was a mistake. It was horrible time, and lots of people thought the ones who were killed were “pests” or “enemies of the people”, so killing them was good and beneficial for the society.
I don’t get how they want make those attesters trustworthy. Any attester is installed on a user device, so its “private” key used for verdict signing can be retrieved by a bot author and used to make fake verdicts. Disregarding ethics of the proposal, it just won’t work in real world.
Liberalism is not related to posting or not posting critical articles. So, the meme and the text are not related in any way.
There’s “Block community” in the three dots menu.
I tried only Jerboa and Liftoff. Liftoff has a customizable UI, all the features I need, and tells when a post or comment was made (unlike Jerboa).
Ah, communism is like unicorns. Many people like them but nobody have seen them alive. Because every communist state is not communist but authoritarian.
