they have been, a lot of game companies have released their games officially in China over the last 5 or so years. They usually have to get localized because most people in China dont speak english and often they have to remove skulls or blood from the game.
i mean its in their genes those genes just arent expressed.
the meme would only be accurate if what Hegel was doing was saying “imagine some sort of metal thing that makes other metal things go fast” and then Marx and Engels made a gun.
Seriously Hegels contribution to marxism is hugely overstated, almost everything he wrote on philosophy was nonsense and everything he wrote on natural philosophy was wrong, he only really contributed idealist dialectics and that was so under-cooked that Marx and Engels spent a whole book making the idea good, while dunking on him and similar idealist.
maybe the real question is if the banks would even know were the person was and if those debt collection agencies would have any legal backing for that debt in China.
is he still tho? i dont follow him anymore cuz his stuff is kinda boring in the editing but i do watch some of his videos every once in a while and he completely dropped that stuff same for the dunking on creationist stuff and just stuck to the science stuff which was always the most interesting anyways. hard to know if his politics have changed but i would guess most of his audience now doesnt even know he used to be part of gamergate (despite seemingly not being a gamer???) cuz he dosnt let it thru at all from what i can see.
i wonder if they can see the stars without leaving their cities.
i would say the usa is also at war with Russia in Syria
The machine increases the exploitation of the worker by reducing the amount of labor hours it takes to make a thing.
For a simple example suppose holes in the ground have a value, if a capitalist pays a worker to dig holes and the worker can dig 1 hole an hour with a shovel but 2 with an excavator then while paying for the same 1 hour of work the worker will create twice the value for the capitalist.
But really the distinction is mostly semantic and it doesn’t matter much whether Marx was right and the machines create no value or some other economists were right and it takes machines/tools as well as labor to create value hardly matter because either way the capitalist brings nothing to the table.
