Just use a cloudflare tunnel. It’s free and can be used on pretty much any network that sends and receives data.
Refreshing sources will always be permanently engrained in my vision as if I was looking directly into the sun.
The release of the iPhone and iPod touch was such a special time for me. The jailbreaking scene was just getting started and it started my life long fascination with tinkering with technology.
As a UI/UX designer myself (hobbyist, to be clear), I really like it.
There seems to be this notion in the homebrew/FOSS/Linux community that “wasted space” is always non-preferable. I can see this being true for some people, but I feel like a lot of people are band wagoning this opinion.
It’s pretty universally known and accepted in the design community that padding is extremely important when it comes to helping your brain read and separate content. And to be fair, most non-tech people prefer space and padding in their applications to make things easier to understand.
I can be entirely off base here, but TLDR: I like padding and it’s literally beneficial to helping your brain understand the layout of what you’re looking at better.
This looks to be the beginning of a trend to pull out of Reddit, and I am excited to watch it crash and burn.
I just posted about this today in another thread. The ability for AI to be able to describe photos for people who are visually impaired is a total game changer. Most visually impaired people rely on people posting AltText or photo descriptions to become involved, but as most of us already know, most people don’t think twice about it, including myself. I’m definitely trying to be better.
Valve is truly one of the last respected game companies. Sure, they make a lot of money and take a 30% cut from developers on Steam, but because of how satisfied their users are, they keep coming back and keep buying more games, which is a win in the long term. Too many companies think short-term or quarterly while Valve seems to look at the big picture. I give a lot of credit to Gabe for not truly selling out at any point. And if it hasn’t happened by this point, I don’t see it happening in the future. It would have happened by now if so.
I think you’re overthinking this. Twitter used to be a place where I could keep up with my friends. Now, it’s a place filled with many forms of hate. Because of this, I no longer wish to use it, so I left.
I personally have no care in the world for what happens with Twitter. Why should I? It becomes overrun with bigots? So what?
Remaining on a platform filled with hate is an indicator that you’re ok with that. I am not, so I left. end of story.
I suggest we create a list of who is bringing what to the party, that way we’ll know who’s bringing what. I’ll start

Love this channel, love that you guys over here love it as well. Thanks for being cool, beehaw.
Just curious, what feature are they waiting on?
I personally do not care what people think or tell me about handwriting. I do not enjoy writing things out by hand, I much prefer typing. So that is what I do. Simple as that.
I would say this: If it’s just you accessing your server and nobody else, self-hosting is fine.
When it comes to giving other people access to your server, no matter how close of friends you may be, I would recommend renting a cheap VPS online. The security benefits are just that much better.
Yeah, I guess when it comes down to it, if you want 100% control you have to pay for it yourself.
Ooh, I like this answer. If they pull it, you still have it. Can always post again.
It’s a ghost. Always sleep with a vacuum.
From what I can tell, and don’t quote me on this, this doesn’t really matter.
Most of my subs I have on my own instance say subscribe pending but I still get the posts federated. Not sure what the reason is, would love if somebody could chime in.
The reason why I can’t recommend YouTube music is that it uses audio from videos instead of playing the studio versions of the tracks. The fact that it makes me listen to those silly audio parts in music videos while I’m trying to listen to a studio release is terrible in my opinion, and I couldn’t figure out a way to hide those results from search entirely. Does anybody know if they’ve fixed this?
