Until this election cycle, the idea that the democrats are always better than the republicans had never been significantly contested and peoples voting blue to block the republicans had been the status quo. But the genocide broke the illusion which subsequently broke liberal’s brains.

Personally, I want Biden to stay. I want to see him elected, not because I believe in him or out of some misguided notion of harm-reduction, but because I absolutely do not have any faith in him and I think that a second Biden term would be catastrophic for the libs and it would push more liberals to radicalise.

This is the Blue Qanon conspiracy theory: all true leftists agree with them, leftists who disagree with them don’t exist therefore leftists who disagree with them are a conspiracy created by the Kremlin/CCP/MAGA/whatever to subvert the “true” left.

This is how they cope when actual leftists confront them with their own contradictions and hypocrisy, in order to get rid of the cognitive dissonance they pretend that they are the farthest left and that peoples farther left don’t exist, that way they don’t have to actually debate with us and can dismiss us as trolls, LLMs or whatever else, and more importantly, that allow them to continue pretending that the contradictions and hypocrisy we point at is not there and to convince themselves that they don’t need to reevaluate their politics.

They are so convinced of this conspiracy theory that they use it unironically to try to “convert” others. But it doesn’t work very well on peoples who aren’t already convinced blue MAGA radlibs, and anyone outside the blue MAGA cult who are starting to be radicalized by the actions of genocide Joe are far more likely to be pushed away from the rad lib crowd by these bozo’s rambling about how peoples who disagree with them aren’t real than to be convinced by it .

In fact, the very fact that you are talking about “Biden being better that Trump” as if it was so obvious that you don’t need to provide evidence is a big red flag (pun unintended). It indicate that you really need to question that belief of yours and look into why you are so convinced of it to the point you consider it obvious and check what evidences are actually saying.
