My friend has a little 300-tree operation. He says it’s the best year he’s ever had.
Big maple is lying to us!
Close but not quite. John Connor’s foster mom.
Everybody remembers Ripley, but Aliens was a solid gender equality movie… filmed way back in 1986. Remember Vasquez and Ferro? Totally believable, flawed and likeable badasses. I find today’s characters to be way too perfect to be believable. Wonder Woman is a good example. I find her annoying.
How I envy you to be able to watch Archer for the first time.
I must have watched the whole thing a dozen times.
+1 for Prospect.
It brought me back to the weirdness of the sci-fi era of the 70s like Battle beyond the stars, Logan’s run, Doppelgänger and the original West world.
I felt like I was 8 years old discovering sci-fi again. Really worth it, although I’m sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
I though it was Vientiane for a second. It isn’t : they don’t have tall buildings there.
Little story about Vientiane and cats: there’s a old lady that feeds the street cats twice a day, at 8 am and 5 pm. Like clockwork, about 20 cats show up 15 min before those times and just wait for her. It looks a lot like the picture, only with a lot more cats. Moral of the story: cats can precisely tell the time.
