You’re not wrong. They use lead to seal the vacuum. You will only be contaminated with lead if it gets damaged. Most other big popular brands moved away from lead to glass sealing years ago citing worker health and potential lead exposure if they get damaged.

They don’t think the technology is ready for mainstream adoption so they’re not making more than 1 model

A few reasons I clean before they arrive:

• They’re not paid great so I’d rather not inconvenience them too much and let them get into their next gig faster.
• I don’t want them putting non dishwasher items in the dishwasher and potentially ruining them.
• You will lose items because they’re organizing your place and will put stuff not where you expect it.
• They tend to do a deeper clean when they’re not focusing on cleaning up the smaller stuff you can take care of yourself

Android 14 uses new APIs and Google requires everyone to update their SDK to say whether or not it uses the new APIs. If they did nothing it was flagged as an incompatible app, but if they don’t use the APIs it will run fine.

You can usually adjust your app and publish an update without needing to change the app’s targetSdkVersion. Similarly, you should not need to use new APIs or change the app’s compileSdkVersion, although this can depend on the way your app is built and the platform functionality it’s using.

You can update the SDK without triggering an update to the app and it will be available on the play store.

It was an android 14 compatibility issue and the app has since been updated and runs fine.

Oppo doesn’t let you. Only a small set of apps can run and it’s up to oppo if they allow it.
