I think I’m at the end of Shadow of the Erdtree. I’m now just exploring that late game forest area, and unlocked what might be the last legacy dungeon. Been avoiding spoilers somehow.
If my theories are right, this story is real fucked up.
I just wish it was possible to get the dlc weapons earlier. I’d love to start a vagabond run using the dueling shield (easy mode weapon for bosses btw), or bandit with the backhand blades.
This is where so much of the “DLC too hard” complaints come from. Without scooby snacks, even high level characters will get wrecked by the first few bosses.
Some DSA branches are way more radical than national, but those cities probably have actual communist parties you can join.

The game gives you two hoslow petal whips in one run for a reason. Occult bleed whips feels so good right up until the bosses stop bleeding.
Last night we played Fiasco instead, doing a story about a couple of werewolves and vampires trying to be roommates. Real fun, real funny.
One of my gaming friends is being very silly. A few years ago, my bf’s ex broke up with him. She was a part of our gaming group, and it was a pretty messy breakup for a lot of reasons. However, it was years ago and she and bf have been friends since childhood, so they made up as friends and things are cool again. They’re besties, me and her are good friends, everything is peachy.
Right now she’s visiting from out of town and staying with us, so we invited her to game night as a “special guest star” in our Pathfinder game, as is custom with visiting friends. Except not, because one of our players has decided that they will not game with her anymore. They’d rather stay home from game night, than to play with someone they had no real prior relationship with but has disliked since the breakup. They’re taking it harder than my bf, even years later!
It’s frustrating, like buddy she has done you no wrong and literally everyone else in our game group is friends with her again, come roll dice with us.
Was recently talking about this with a friend who gets this from her doctor and is paying out the ass even with insurance, and another whose doctor refuses to prescribe it because “there is a shortage”. Semaglutide is like $40 for a 5ml vial from Chinese labs (that’s about 2 weeks at the highest dose), but we are trained to be afraid of self-medding or even talking to doctors about sourcing our meds outside of “official” pharmacies.
The cost of pharmaceuticals is so artificial. A vial of estrogen is like…hundreds of dollars if you buy it from a pharmacy, like $65 if you get it from a Brazilian weeb, and cheap as hell if you buy raws from china and compound them yourself? Makes no sense.

I am hosting a friend from out of town, which has been negatively impacting my ability to play lots of Elden Ring.
Live feeds are very common and can be used to fly in first person view, or even race.
God she is so fucking cool sometimes. Just found that payload system, the “Screaming Fist”.
She also made a neat fpv monocular that clips on to a hat so you don’t have to be blindfolded while flying. Given I don’t have FPV goggles yet, I should look into making one of these.
I was thinking more like, taking pictures and videos and stuff but that’s pretty sick too.
A BabyApe looks pretty neat - cheap enough, well-reviewed, comes with a PNP version so I can use my own tx/rx so I just need to figure out how it all plugs together. When I build a bot I just get a 4-channel receiver (I found one a super lightweight one that works with my tx) and plug each motor’s ESC into an appropriate channel. I have a feeling flight controllers make that different.
Can I fpv without buying goggles, using my phone or something? That’s the newest thing for me I think - combat bots usually don’t have cameras.
God I need to do so much research.

PS5 got rid of themes. That one jazzy song from persona 5 used to be the Theme to Babs’s Bf’s Apartment, but now the best we can get is a spacey wooommmeoooom.
