I’d say it was performative activism, but I’ve seen Arrow and that man cannot act.
The reason unions take a ballot is to decide what their members want. Then they act in unison, irrespective of whether their preferred outcome was successful. It’s perfectly normal for some members to disagree with the outcome, but still support it. I think he made foolish comments, but this is a non story.
