For those of you who don’t care, I promise this is the last post about this. All further discussion can be relegated to the matrix space.

The main base isn’t anything special, at least for now, but it’s enough to protect from the main planet’s frequent boiling storms. If any comrades need to be picked up, you can use the S.O.S. channel in the matrix space. All four stars are yellow, so no special hyperdrives are required to traverse the whole federation.
Portal Coords:

Feel free to join us! No other planets except the main one in System Alpha have been discovered, so feel free to name them how you wish, and build small outposts, huge bases, or anything in between! I can’t wait to meet all of you in our marxist-leninist space commune!
edit: thank you for the pin!
I got this game on sale a couple years back and only just started playing it, but I’ve been having fun. Im not very familiar yet, but the basics seem simple enough. I don’t really understand how the portal cords work or having a base planet, but I’ll try and figure it out if y’all will have me.
of course! join the linked matrix. we’re happy to have leftists all over the fediverse, and if you don’t understand the portal coords i can bring you over using the multiplayer features. me and another comrade had to figure it out the hard way, but i’ve got it down now.
Bit of a late response, but one thing to keep in mind is that this game has customizable difficulty. That is, you can tune individual gameplay elements like economy pricing, crafting requirements, etc. to your needs. So if you bump into anything particularly grindy, just switch it off. This is useful when it comes to tracking down a portal and powering it up with the needed materials to travel, as that can be an incredibly grindy process.
