    The entire community benefits when even one union wins.

    It’s called the velocity of money. Put more money in the hands of working-class people, and that tide does indeed lift all boats, not just the yachts. Money in the hands of the already obscenely-wealthy just ends up in offshore investment accounts, because they can.
