With the Libero Flip, ZTE presents a particularly affordable foldable with a round secondary display, a relatively large battery, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Despite the low price, the device has a 50 MP main camera that can record 4K videos and a 1080p OLED display.
The ~400USD price tag is really impressive, but the big thing with these folding phones is the reliability of the hinge. It will be interesting to see how it fares when proper reviews come in.
Reviews won’t give a definitive answer on the durability of the hinge. The average reviewer doesn’t spend anywhere near long enough with a smartphone to have any worthwhile opinion on its durability, and even the people who do these hinge tests on YouTube have no real idea. You cannot accurately predict these things after just a few days of rudimentary testing.
