(Disclaimer: You may find my english pretty bad. Sorry about that, but I have some difficulties. Hope you can understand me)

Share a band/artists from your country or from a country where a artist/band you like are from and dont belong to the mainstream scene. For example, if you are french or like music from native french bands/artists, I guess not worth it share a Daft Punk song. Im saying this , just because everyone knows them. Obviously, you can do it, nobody stop you, but I guess maybe worth it share music from bands who dont have a giant fan-base or even a band without enormous famous.

Tell me what you think and share your thoughts. Lets begin…

(The links I put is from Invidious, a respectfull youtube privacy site)

Mexico: Silvana Estrada - Mas o menos antes | Invidious link

Mostly one guitar and an ANGELICAL voice. Is to calm and too good. For me, one of the best albuns of 2022. This girl makes music a wonderful thing.

Chile: Astro – Panda | Invidious link

Band kinda similar to MGMT. Join psychadelic, experimental pop and electronic rhythms. I like a lot their self-tilted album. Check these guys. Worth it imo.

Brazil: Boogarins – Lucifernandis | Invidious link

Psych rock from Brazil. Some people call them brazilians Tame Impala. This song is from their debut album and after that, they grow up (a lot) on (south) america. Its not my favourite song from them, but its a nice and catchy song if you want to explore Boogarins.

Portugal: Sean Riley and Slowriders – Love Life | Invidious link

I know this song actually appears on advertisment for a car (dont remember which was). Its an amazing and beatufiul song and they change some musical things on this album. This album is a tribute for one of the partners of the band, who died in 2019. The cover of the album is the guy who unfortunately dead.

Russia: Pinkshinyultrablast – Holy Forest | Invidious link

Dreamy-Psych-Alternative-rock-shoegaze vibes. I haven’t listened to it in a while, but it’s worth it

Spain: C. Tangana – Me maten | Invidious link

After Rosalia, C Tangana is problably the most famous spanish artist nowadays. Probably, now, his very famous, but I’m showed him because he’s not famous as Rosalia. Fun fact, Rosalia and C Tangana dated a few years ago. He is one of my favourite artists right now.

France: Juliette Armanet – La Folie | Invidious link

Pop song from a french artist. This song have two versions, but I prefer the rework version. Beautiul music.

Germany: CRO – Einmal um die Welt | Invidious link

Dont know what this song means, I just discovered while I’m assisting a random video on youtube. Very nice indie rock song. If you like the beginnings of The Strokes, Artic Monkeys or The Vaccines, you probably gonna like this.

England: Squid - Paddling | Invidious link

From USA and England is very complicated choose one artist/band who dont have a giant fan-base or millions of views on streaming platforms. Squid belongs to the new generation of experimental rock which arise in England, and have others good buddy bands with more hype like Black Country, New Road or black midi.

Sweden: Todd Terje – Inspector Norse | Invidious link

I like a lot his debut album. Its fantastic for a guy who join electro music from 80’s and the present. This song is probably the most famous from him.

Ireland: For those I love – Birthday/The Pain | Invidious link

You probaly gonna skip this but first, I need to say this: for me, is the best album from 2021. I like. A lot. If you dont like spoken-words stuff with some experimental things, skip this. Why I like this album so much? Because sometimes the spoken-words sounds to me like a rap, and I love all the experimental things that guy made on LP.

Niger: Mdou Moctar – Afrique Victime | Invidious link

Dont confund countries. Its Niger, not Nigeria. A group of (psych) rock with Tuareg spicey. They fight a lot for human rights. They deserve a lot of love.

Syria: Omar Souleyman – Warni Warni | Invidious link

Ok, this guy probably is very famous, but I will share anyway. Dance music with some asian aspects. Its impossible dont smile or dance when I listen this guy.

Australia: Courtney Barnett – Kim’s Caravan | Invidious link

My favourtite song from her debut album (which is great, btw). Singer and songwriter. Psychadelic/alternative rock from a girl who did everything. Chek her.

Japan: Kikagaku Moyo – Streets of Calcutta | Invidious Link

Rock music from Japan. Has they said on bio of spotify “Krautrock, Traditional Folk, and 70s Rock”. Give this guys a try.

Canada (French): P’tit Belliveau - Stand There | Link

ty. I will check your suggestions. Later I give my opinion. After your post, remembered I forgot Canada lol. BadBadNotGood would be my choice. Don’t know if this will generate too much interest , but I wouldn’t mind doing this once a month, for example

Finished to listen all songs: I didn’t really like “Summer is ending” and Ptit Belliveau

Otherwise, the New Years from Prettt Crimes. Wow. Just wow. Phenomenal. I love the guitar and his riff. What an incredible song. Last Dinosaur is also excellent.

Palestine: قديش كان في ناس by Al3s3s.

The sorrows of a Palestinian diaspora expressed in a song.

    Haiti: Sekrè by Ilan-Ilan.

I cannot but only dance and shake when this is playing.

    Indonesia: Samarkand by Bloodshed.

I tend to find gems like this online when searching very random keywords. This is an exemplary case.

Lebanon: Battle of the Hotels by Mayssa Jallad.

This album is a musical narration of the early days of the Lebanese civil war. My favorite track is “Holdiay Inn”.

    France: L’internationale by Cherry Chérie.

    L’internationale but it’s rock.
