This number is incorrect. If you read the translation of the Haaretz article (Google translate), it says “The cost of the Hamas attack was terrible: 112 people of Kibbutz Be’eri were killed [on the 7th of October]”. And not that 112 people were killed by the Israeli army.
In general, the posted source does a really shitty translation. The story and narrative of the Haaretz (according to the Google translation) is way different.
