I thought it was just like implicit biases. But nope, apparently it’s literally textbook.
My Dad’s Native American and my Mom’s Indian so I buy my sacred pain number at 7-11.
Pain is considered a test of faith
I was literally taught this growing up in a white-ass evangelical church. If someone had a terminal illness, it was because god was testing their faith. More projection, what’s new?

They vary widely in their expression of pain. Some are stoic and some are expressive.
That describes literally everyone in the world.
