I’m interested in seeing suggestions too, but what I do is keep a list of things I want to see on Trakt. I just keep adding to it, and then eventually when I want to watch something I’ll scroll through and pick one off.

I usually get recommendations from friends or I come across a scene from somewhere and that’s how I build my list. Back when I used to look at recommendation posts, it would take a long while to find and pick something

    Same with TV shows

Well for a long time i used TV time for keeping track of what to watch, To build my “watch list” I did the same thing as you do, but It seem cool to me the idea of having a list of movies soggested from one or maybe more users, so you are sure that every film is good and you dont have to “haunt” to find something to watch

The StarTrek.website instance has nontoxic and active community with views - and of course one of the longest running franchises to discuss.

There’s even a great where to start post along the lines you’re looking for.

Now naturally other stuff exists, and we even have a place to discuss that over at /quarks.
