My name is Suleiman, from Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, we have been living a nightmare with no end in sight. Our home, which was once a safe shelter for my children, was reduced to rubble after the bombs hit. We were forced to flee again and again, carrying what little belongings we had left, searching each time for a new place to survive.
Now my family and I have no home, no roof above us. My children sleep on the ground, and sometimes even in the streets. My only wish is to have a tent to gather us and protect us from the burning sun and the cold nights—or a small piece of land to rent, where we could put up even a temporary shelter. But prices have become unbearable: renting land, buying a tent, and covering displacement costs are far beyond anything I can afford.
Every day we wake up to the sound of explosions, with one heavy question haunting me: How will I feed my children? How will I protect them from sickness? How can I preserve their dignity in the middle of this disaster?
I am sharing my story not to ask for pity, but in the hope that my voice will be heard. Any help—even the smallest contribution—could save our lives. You are our last hope after we have lost everything.
Please, donate hand in hand. If each person donates €1 or €5, you will save me from the cold and homelessness I am in. I have no one else to appeal to but you. Please, please, I beg you.
