I’m on my own instance, kbin.social never comes up when I search. Are they still have problems or am I doing something wrong?

    Yeah once you subscribe it should show all new content going forward. The other communities you tried has probably already been added by me or someone else. I have a bunch in my watch list waiting for federation.

      So it fills the backlog in order? So of its behind, it will fill your backlog before moving on to the next instance?
