It’s fun! Simple combat, and very different from how today’s 3rd person hack and slashes are. The sword is very unwieldy, and even at max speed, you gotta be rhythmic with your swings and only go for one or two enemies at a time.

Also, enemies are ALWAYS coming at you in groups up to 10, there is no way to stop them. Cause of the brand, it makes sense in universe, but threw me for a loop when I was on the first level.

In a nutshell you might get bored of the combat, but its well made and I feel compelled to finish, which i don’t always do with roms
