and maybe saw a gladiator fight prior to that.I remember there a few more curses against venus for making them fall in love
I’ve had many extremely hurtful cases of longing and heartbreak but never for a second would I think about calling for violence against my beloved lady
I thought the goddess was responsible for making them fall in love with someone else and that this was found around a temple dedicated to Venus.
perhaps? you’d assume because i worship venus i’d have done any of the reading up on her but alas, i have not
point is i would never think for a second about wishing her a shred of harm
