https://www.pornhub.com/model/zara-dar - Channel appears to be SFW, but the site obviously isn’t.

Does that just mean pornhub is more generous towards content creators than youtube?

youtube has in-player ads just like pornhub. However pornhub also has gif ads on the sides/top of site. Those gif ads can’t be as well paid as the in-player ones. Probably at least half of pornhub ad money comes from in-player, (which youtube also has) but pornhub is paying 3x as much, not 2x.

And actually it’s even worse bc YT has double in-player ads, PH only has single ones per vid.

I don’t use the site, do they have premium accounts with content that’s only accessible via those accounts? If so then they probably factor it into their decision-making for content payout. Like they know they gain X number of memberships per thousand views so they can factor it in as value that leads to memberships even when it’s the content that’s visible to non-members.

I read that as “SFM content” at first and spent a minute wondering “but why doesnt the screenshot look like a Half Life 2 mod?”

Not commenting on the validity of the post, but what is the area of a circle doing there? The only explanation I could see for calculus is if their profits were reported to them in an unclear manner (probably not…?) and then doing an optimization problem, but what kind of information must they be giving you to need calculus rather than using like dimensional analysis or something (or maybe it’s a tiered system like tax brackets)
