Here’s a question, can you add pirated games to GOG galaxy? And yes I’ve got a few of their releases pirated in the past and enjoyed them.
Honestly not sure, I gave up on GOG Galaxy several years ago because the interface is pretty terrible. Heroic Launcher is much better.

I’ve never used the GOG launcher but I know you can add games to Steam that are from folders on your computer.

Not sure about Galaxy 2.0 but I’m pretty sure the old one would automatically include anything installed by a pirated GOG installer but it would give like a little popup that online stuff (achievements, cloud saves etc) are disabled

That sounds like the way to go. Pirate whatever you can that just works and use the giftcard for boring important stuff
