      Well wait no longer: Because Lemmy is small. posts that would have gone to a vibrant niche subreddit in Reddit, instead get posted to one of the few large communities, because the niche communities don’t exist, are hard to find, or are dead.

          🙄 I know my name says “pedantic” but give me a break.

          Because Lemmy is small, posts in the same general categories get posted to the only large community in that category.

          Once there are living communities where people can go to post their shit, then you can come in with the purity police.

            Except this isn’t part of the same general category. It’s not a meme. At all. The only thing related is that pictures get posted in this sub, and you had a picture.

            Could have posted in a Canadian or shitpost or 196 magazine or something.
