The NES era is the first era that has some lasting games to it that aren’t just relics of their time.

I started with an Atari console; I’m that old. I should be nostalgic for it but no, the NES is the start of games actually being worth playing decades later.
The Sega Master System had some great obscure games I’ve only watched reviews of recently, too.
Yeah they are not good. There are like 2 you could maybe fuck with for a little while but they aren’t even great
Imagine spending all day at work daydreaming about leaving work to play video games and then finally coming home after a long day just to put on Adventure for Atari 2600
“packed” with 10 whole games huh?
Tbh I find something about single purpose built tech very endearing. It reminds me of late 20th century futurism (e.g. Ender’s game) where things like books were still individual objects, just digital/electronic, whereas the real books of the future (our present day books) are just files to be loaded onto a device, hundreds of which can be stored on the same one
Is this an emulator or fgpa? Although it’s kinda cool, I’ve never been able to enjoy 2600 games. They were only enjoyable for short periods of time at best.
It can play your old cartridge games with it.

Using an expensive flashcart on an emulation box, to dump roms to the cart to be extracted and played as an emulated rom… Seems a little silly. Experience wise, the games would be no difference in experience than any run of the mill emulator you can sideload on a smart TV?
It’s still a neat shelf piece though.
