For some reason I thought we had a meta comm but I can’t find it. Maybe things changed during federation? I took a little break around the time we federated and have only recently logged back on, so I apologize if this is the wrong place.
But it’s a pretty basic rule in any leftist community that I’ve been in that reactionary sources are archived. This is hinted at but not explicitly enumerated in the sidebar. I believe it should be. Thank you
That rule already exists
– If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed –
yeah that’s what I mean it was hinted at. It’s buried in there in a bullet point that’s really about twitter.
