South korea and India really are 1:1 in that aspect. The tutor shit has really rocketed here in India since like 2020 I would say. I teach varied students once in a while. And yeah the way the whole obsession with tutoring kids for exams apart from school in India has been a huge deal. Its very horrifying.

One of the things that I hate about korean reality talk shows, is that they act comedic about serious topics. Like they just refuse to be negative, as if they are scared that it will make the audience go away or smth.

China recently cracked down on private education and mandated the decrease of homework and prioritization of sleep, and the education stocks plummeted lol
