Well, knowing Catholicism, I would bet on him being a monster. Most likely worse than the ones in RE.

Simplicity to access the content is important, but I’d argue just as important is they’ve tried to make the games simple and appealing to everyone, and they end up not really appealing to anyone. Make an interesting game for the people that want it. Don’t make a game no one wants.
So they should only pander to the political class? That seems great…
You don’t know what they have or haven’t killed.
It’s “their nature” but they are not part of nature (unless you live in like Turkey or something where they’re from).
Using a different version of WINE/Proton could work. It may also depend on some extra utilities you need to install on your WINE prefix (Wine tricks is the tool to use for this). If that doesn’t work, the almost guaranteed to work option is a virtual machine running Windows. This comes with a small performance hit, but that may not be a concern.
The first thing I’ll say is the reason you’re more comfortable with Windows is because you’ve been using it for however long and learning to deal with the issues it has. The same needs to be done on Linux. You’ll have to learn how it works just like you forgot you did for Windows.
Second, along with logs like other users said, you have to know how to use a search engine well. Most issues will be easy to solve, but some may take some searching. The Arch wiki is a good resource even if you aren’t using Arch.
Linux users tend to give much better bug reports than Windows users (if they do at all). That alone is probably a good enough reason to do Linux first. There are many more good reasons when the first goal is getting it functional and not getting as many users as possible (who will probably hate it if they’re not a technically skilled user because there will be bugs).
You’re making an assumption their first priority is the number of users. I would suspect that isn’t true, and they’re aware Windows has more users.
It probably wasn’t my first one because I have been playing games younger than I can remember, but the first one I remember playing is The Lion King. You don’t forget playing that game. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make a game about a kid’s movie so damn difficult?
Well, achktually SUDO stands for “substitute-user do.” The default action just happens to be the super user, but you can substitute any user.
Manga exhibition. That’s a pretty obvious clue. It’s a pornography device. For example, when you type 58008 into it and turn it upside down it makes boobs appear on it.
They can. It’s a lot harder and different though. It requires emulating the server software and replicating it. It won’t be the same servers as the main game, and also usually requires knowledge of something not provided with the game.
Well, MMOs don’t really need DRM. They mostly just need anti-cheat. The server can check for legit ownership or not. Usually it’s only single-player games that get cracked.
All the best games sound like jobs when you describe them.
I think the university I went to phased out the EE requirements the year after me. Honestly, I think it should be required. Understanding how the computer “thinks” is such an important skill.
Anyone who thinks OP asking about Assembly with this meme should play the game Turing Complete. It’s great. You have to design a computer all the way from the most basic logic gates (I think you only get a NAND gate to start), designing an ALU and CPU, creating your own machine language, and writing your own programs in the language you designed, and it’s all simulated the whole time. Machine language is pretty advanced as far as things go.
Pornhub is legitimately one of the best sites for internet statistics around. It’s very widely visited and they actually put out the numbers. (Although, sadly, in my state of Virginia, they comply with identification requirements, so I only visit it with my VPN active, which then fucks up the stats.)
Technically by definition you’re correct, though there is a lot of philosophical debate about where it’s “good” (in a moral sense).
I also haven’t seen anything from him, but I’ve seen things that talk about him. My understanding is he’s a guy who makes outlandish videos, and some of that is “charity” (is it charity if you profit more off the video about it?) that got really popular. Other than that, I don’t really know what he does.
Yep. Just look at Bioware. BG3 would have been theirs if they didn’t go the action game route. In the past they made BG and SWTOR, but then they made DA: Origins (not an action game, but moving that direction) and then Mass Effect. At that point they never went back from that direction. They’ve been successful most of the time, but I feel it can only last so long, because it isn’t really made for anyone anymore. I think we can see that now.
