New York Times is a far reach from left-wing, and is controlled by owning class shareholders. Neoliberal as in the moderate-right position of the establishment Democratic party, is consistent with the opinions published in NYT.
Even the Democrats are right wing compared to the centrist position of the EU. Even Democratic Socialists don’t have a voice in US federal government, let alone us commie pinko bastards on the far left.
