Incredible find in the Amazon - a network of roads and cities that would have housed a civilization at least as large as the Mayans. ~6000 mounds, population in the 10,000s or potentially 100,000s, all around the same time period as the Romans.

I think we should take a lesson from civilizations that tried to create 15 minutes cities like this, only to subsrquently vanish. Let’s not make the same mistake
